Zazzle has launched BOLDFACE guitar cases. I think this is a great idea because the faces of this guitar case are interchangeable. The buyer has the option to purchase and switch to different designs. I think it's a great way for aspiring musicians to show off their personality. The soft case design combines the protection of a thick padded interior with the portability of a gig bag. Made with a sturdy shell, this versatile case is lined with a soft material to gently cradle a guitar. Below, are a few of the designs I have created so far. Additional Information: Fits most standard size acoustic/electronic guitars Extra-rugged 600D polyester shell 15mm dense inner padding on all sides Wide padded backpack straps for extra comfort Large and small back pockets perfect for storing music, cables, and accessories Exchangeable and fully customizable front panels, or “faces” Get one bag and switch the face - and your style - any time you want All printed faces are made in Redondo Beach, CA Another designer, Highton Ridley has done a great job creating space themed guitar cases. Here is one I especially like. A NASA Hubble Space Telescope image of the beautiful barred spiral galaxy, more than 60 million light-years away in the direction of the southern constellation Dorado. It's also known as NGC 1672 and astronomers deduce it has a unique mechanism that channels gas from the disk inward towards the nucleus

I was excited to see that Zazzle has launched faux wrapped canvas. It's an economical choice for customers who don't want to pay the expense of real wrapped canvas prints. I can see this product taking off in the future. Walmart has a similar product. I've purchased one in the past with my own photography on it. The quality is really good, especially when you add a frame to the canvas. Here are the product details
Great for holiday décor since they are lighter and cheaper than other options and great for seasonal décor. Add your own wedding photo to this faux canvas. Happily Ever After Starts Here is written in script text on a rustic barn board background. Personally, I love baking cakes and cheesecakes. I'm good at it. If I am invited to a dinner party, I always offer to bring the desserts. I also love to display my works of art (aka cakes) on a beautiful platter or cake stand. I was excited to hear that Zazzle has launched custom printed cake stands. They can be used for weddings, bridal showers, birthdays, holidays, or entertaining. I really like the idea of custom cake stands for weddings. It's an item that can be reused throughout the years and maintains sentimental value. I've just started to design on the cake stands. My first design featured to the left, can be used for destination wedding celebrations or it would be great for the summer at a cottage or beach home. I created this golf pattern cake plate to go along with my golf themed birthday invitations and accessories. See my Birthday Golf Collection here. This design features a pattern of vibrant green tiles with a golf ball on a golf tee. See the side view of the cake stand below. Here are some product details about these cake stands
Some of the best cake platters I have seen so far are by Zazzle Designer Anka.
See the below photo for a quick feature of her elegant cake stands. Clicking on the below photo will take you to her cake stand collection Click here to see her store. Her products are gorgeous and worth seeing if you are planning a wedding. I started designing on Zazzle in 2014. In the beginning, my products were simple. Basic texts and logos on t-shirts, and a lot of my photography on phone cases. For the most part, my designs were pretty bad. I can recognize that now. The items I thought would sell, never did. The items I thought wouldn't sell, did. When I first started designing in June of 2014, I created a lot of products with no results. I eventually gave up, I was putting a lot of time and effort into Zazzle. Months went by and I forgot about Zazzle entirely. One afternoon, I was sitting on the couch and I received an email from Zazzle titled "Your Recent Sales". I jumped up off the couch and ran to my computer for a closer look. It was a men's muscle shirt with the text, Squat, Bench, Deadlift. Many of my first designs were fitness related. The sale was a customer in Aartselaar, Belgium (if you are reading this, thank you). I received $3.28 CDN in royalties for the sale. My enthusiasm for Zazzle was renewed. I spent a lot of time reading the Zazzle forums, blogs about Zazzle, and refining my skills in Coreldraw. The biggest lesson I learned was the more work you put into Zazzle the bigger the return. My first sale was in August of 2014. From this time on, I've made a sale every month in Zazzle. My sales have steadily increased. I track my progress and earnings in an excel spreadsheet. I know what products are doing well, how my sales are increasing, and this helps me to decide what products to design on. Currently, I am a Bronze level designer. I'm definitely not a top earner on Zazzle, but I've made small milestones. I am one of the top sports themed designer on Zazzle. Some designers make hundreds of sales a month. Now, in 2017, I average around fifty sales per month (this number does not include sales of multiple items to one customer ex. selling 100 invitations to one person). The key to success is trying to appeal to different niche markets. I love to design sports themed items because that's what interests me. Zazzle is a great hobby but it's not a steady income. I work full-time outside of Zazzle at a job I love, sometimes 50-70 hours a week. Zazzle is a relaxing hobby for me. It combines creativity and my love of computers and technology. To any new designers out there, don't give up. It takes time! Promote your items, engage in Zazzle forums so that third party associates get to know your designs and promote your items. Happy Designing! Please leave a comment below describing your first Zazzle sale. Zazzle and Zazzle designers are excited to announce a new product offering. Sleek foil printing on greeting cards. Foil printing is becoming popular. The foil creates a shimmery shine on the printed designs. Foil printing on greeting cards is a first for Zazzle. I'm sure it won't be long before the product offering for foil printing on other items in the marketplace expands. The cards are being offered in three sizes: Standard 5x7, Small 4.25x5.5, and Mini 3.5x5. The different sizes allow for creative ways to use the cards. • Thank you cards • Folded stationery note cards • “Will You Be My Bridesmaid” Cards • Wedding Programs (YES, GOLD!!!) • And so much more! I have been working on making wedding thank you cards. The neat part about these cards, the inside still features a colour print. You can add your wedding photos to the inside of the cards. The full effect of the foil can be hard to see in online photographs. Zazzle includes different product views including video to help understand how the foil will shimmer in different lights. I am also going to try out birthday party invitations on the foil cards. I will include a simple foil printing on the front and include the party details on the side of the card. This golf birthday invitation was designed with silver foil on the front but can be changed to gold foil. I replicated the golf ball picture in colour on the inside. I'm hoping the golf themed invitations become popular. I feel this is a unique way to invite guests to a party. Save the dates will also be a popular way to utilize these cards. In this example, I included a photograph of a mountainside view. This photo was taken just outside of Lucerne, Switzerland. The save the date details are included on the inside of the card. Foil printing could revolutionize Zazzle's print on demand business. With the ability to order as few as one card at a time, it increases their competitiveness with other printing companies. Zazzle also allows designers and customers to choose between white cardstock, silver, or gold kraft paper. It's an exciting time to be a Zazzle designer. Great news everyone, Zazzle has launched a product that many Zazzle designers have been waiting for. Beach Towels! I can't wait to see the different ideas that Zazzle designers will come up with, including myself. I like customized beach towels because everyone has their favourite beach towel. Arguments can be avoided by creating personalized towels unique to someone's personality. The towel dimensions are 70" x 35". The front of the towels are 100% polyester to help absorb the ink colours. The back of the towel is 100% cotton for water absorption and softness. The towels are machine washable and should be tumble dried on a low setting. Considering the towels just launched yesterday, new designs will be added everyday. Here are a few I have created thus far. This is my favourite design from another Zazzle designer Pink Creek Studio Inc. It's perfect for small children at the pool or at the beach. Let's hope for a successful product launch of Zazzle printed beach towels. Recently, I have been dabbling in creating birthday invitations. Two of my more popular themes are fishing and hunting invitations for men. Fishing and hunting are two of my favourite activities. It's always a good idea to create design themes based on what you are most familiar with. This is the end result, a sleek but rugged looking birthday invitation that can be personalized. While it is advertised as a 50th birthday invitation, the age can be changed. If you are interested in these hunting themed invitations, you can add or change all of the text to suit your needs. A sleek looking envelope is also available. With the dark colour of the displayed envelope (this is also customizable), you will need stickers to address these envelopes. Printing address on labels is a lot easier than handwriting but standard white envelopes are included when you order the invitations. I've tried to create multiple items that would be useful for planning a memorable birthday party for the hunter, or huntress in your life. My three favourite birthday items (besides the invitations) are the the paper plates, napkins, and the birthday banner. Click the below photo for more product details and pricing
This past July (2017), my husband and I took a last minute trip to Cayo Coco, Cuba. We already had a trip booked to Varadero, Cuba in August. The fishing and the weather has been less than ideal this summer so we thought, why not? Let's book a last minute trip. The price was right, so we did just that!
How was the trip you ask? It was hot. Very hot. The main problem was the lack of grass on the beach huts. It was abnormally hot so there was no escaping the burning heat waves of the sun. The resort was called Memories Caribe Beach Resort. It was okay. Feel free to check out my Tripadvisor review here. Overall, the trip was good, different than what we are used to. The best part of the trip was the ability to walk for miles along the shore and explore all of the marine life during low tide. We rescued sand dollars and starfish from being stranded on the sand. We saw barracuda, jellyfish, stingrays, crabs, coral, and beautiful fish. We made our low tide walks a daily routine. Of course, I took my camera along in hopes of finding some "Zazzlespiration". Here are a few pictures of our walks. Here are a few of my latest Zazzle products I have created as a result of this trip. Destination Wedding Magnetic Save the Dates Destination wedding Frisbees. These are great to customize and give away to the guests that make the trip for your big day. Beach Life and Beach Bride Trucker Hats Starfish Leggings in two styles This is just a quick list of the new products I have posted to my Zazzle store. Sometimes you just need to get away from the daily grind of everyday life to get some fresh perspective and inspiration. It doesn't have to be an expensive getaway. Take your camera on a hike to a place you've never been before. Explore local parks and waterways. Designing products should be fun. |
